Emmanuelle Khanh 80s Vintage Houndstooth Peplum Jacket
This vintage houndstooth Emanuelle Khanh jacket is elegant 80s, 40s inspired! The bodice is fitted with princess lines and vertical darting in front. Shoulder are padded. A long dramatic peplum creates a lean but curvy line, enhanced by the clean collarless neckline. accents includes angled welted pockets on the peplum, a welted left chest pocket and three small black velveteen buttons on each sleeve cuff.
No size label. I wear a modern size 12, and the jacket fits me, with length to spare for my longer than usual arms.
No fabric content label, and no place to snip a sample for a fiber burn test. I believe it's wool, fairly light weight, in a small houndstooth check, black and white. Lining is medium gray, seems to be acetate.
Seven buttons down the front, covered in black velveteen.
Excellent. I don't see any stains, holes, or tears. There is some color change to the lining seen on the upper back.
