A glorious 1940s suit, in a rich color and flattering fit! Jacket is styled with princess seaming plus vertical darts for curvy fit. Shoulders are padded, oversized lapels are notched and curvy. Six gore skirt

Size: No size label. I wear a modern size 12, and the jacket fits me. The skirt shows signs of having been taken in by a former owner with additional seam allowances along the sides of a few of the gores that would add up to an extra 4" if they were let back out. The waistband has a larger than usual overlap that would garner an extra 2" if it was reset.

Closures

Jacket closes with four large flat self fabric covered buttons, bound buttonholes. The skirt has a sideseam metal zipper with a heavy duty snap and hook & eyes at the waist.

Condition

Excellent. I don't see any stains, holes, tears or other issues.
