Incredibly cute 1960s hiphugger scooter dress - wear it with white gogo boots and a newsboys cap! Short sleeve rib knit top with faux neckline placket accented by small white domed buttons. Dropped bodice to a shirt white skirt with two inverted pleats in front. Thick white belt loops, with a wide gleaming red belt with white top stitching.

Fabric/Colors

Hang tags proudly proclaim it as 100% polyester double knit, "created for the Trevira era". It's machine wash, drip or tumble dry. Dress colors are dark blue and white, with faux patent belt in vivid red with round white plastic slide buckle.

Mary Jane, made in U.S.A. The hang tags tell us that the dress was made at the Lebanon Knitting Mills, 1451 Broadway, New York, NY.

Metal zipper in back.

Condition

New Old Stock, with some minor storage discoloration to the white skirt. This kind of poly cleans up very well, so should be fine with a wash. If you would like me to remove the tags and wash before shipping, please feel free to ask. The belt was fastened to the dress by the manufacturer behind the buckle with a straight pin, so there are pinholes underneathe the belt tongue that are not seen when worn.
