These may be the most spectacular pair of shoes I have ever had the pleasure of owning! Beautifully designed variation on the flapper Mary Jane style, with the toebox separate from the heel, showing the arch of the foot. Both heel and toe decorated with narrow strips of curving silver leather in a sort of sunburst pattern. Set off by shapely French heels. |

Size:Labeled 7.5 AA. I usually wear a 7 1/2 M, and I can squeeze in, but not function. They were a reasonable fit for my teenage daughter who usually wear 7B (BTW, she covets these shoes terribly and urged me to price them higher than I did, probably to prevent them from ever selling so she can inherit them). Please compare measurements to a similarly styled pair in your closet that is a good fit.

Fabric/Colors |
Pale turquoise satin and silver leather. Interior is a combination of pale pink leather, lightweight canvas |
Tag |
The insole of one shoe reads "Roselle, 22 Last, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.". The other insole says "Oppenheim Collins". Oppenheims Collins opened their first store in New York in 1901, they were eventually bought out by another organization in 1945. |
Closures |
Silvery metal buckles, decoratively embossed and each embedded with six tiny rhinestones. |
Condition |
Very good, and very wearable. Structurally sound, heels and soles show minimal wear. there is friction wear to small areas of the satin, most noticeable at the pointiest part of the toes and the part of the ankle strap with the holes for buckles. The silver leather trim on the tebox shows some signs of wear and maybe a bit of cracking. Neither the satin nor the trim are lifting up or peeling loose or loosing bits. Some of the rhinestones on the buckles are darkened. |
