Quintessential 80s! Wow. Double breasted, curvy fitted princess seaming, padded shoulders removeable with velcro, color block design, exaggerated shawl collar lapel on the left and exaggerated notched lapel on the right accented with a black and brass button, winged fold-up cuffs also accented with buttons, flapped handwarmer pockets. So over-the-top 80's that it hurts!!

No fabric content label, and no place to get a snip of fabric to do a burn test. It's a medium weight gabardine weave, in strong shades of red, blue and inky black.

Closures

Double breasted 2 x 2 buttons with a small inner button as an anchor. The buttons are 1.25", brassy with an embossed design and shiny black enamel-look centers.

Condition

Good to very good. The button backs have caused a pinkish color turn to the blue fabric behind them. The jacket was apparently left buttoned during the time that the color turn took place, so it can be seen when the jacket is unbuttoned around the 2 buttonholes on the right side of the jacket - see close-up photo. This is not visible when the jacket is buttoned closed. No other issues seen.
