Fabric/Colors

Medium weight herringbone weave, using gleaming dark red and matte black. The weave is somewhat loose, and all the inside fabric edges are overlocked, so I'm hesitant to snip fabric for a fiber burn test. I am guessing a blend of wool and silk or rayon.

Closures

There's a short zipper in the back of the skirt that is hidden by the buttons that close the bodice and peplum.

Condition

Very good to excellent. I don't see any stains, holes, or tears. A close inspection reveals three small snags, two on the right sleeve and one on the left.
