A killer vintage suit from the early days of Albert Nipon! The jacket has incredible style for wearing on its own with jeans or part of a work ensemble. Curvy fit and flare jacket, cut with princess lines. A 2" wide band of channel stitched fabric curves around the entire perimeter of the jacket, from a stand-up collar in back to plackets forming a vee-neck continuing onto and around the bottom of the jacket adding structure for the gently flared effect. Shoulders are padded with a ruffled internal extension to help the fabric puff out a bit. The full sleeves end in fitted and buttoned cuffs. The skirt is simply styled with light gathering onto a set-in waistband for a silhouette that is straight but not fitted. Jacket and skirt are unlined. |
